About the role
SWK has a rewarding opportunity for a Concrete Finisher to join the team.
Concrete Finishers are considered to be experienced kerb workers with the ability to work independently on a range of site-based duties.
Key Responsibilities:
We are seeking a concrete finisher to carry out a variety of tasks including:
- Finishing and curing concrete with slurry
- Set up string line, heights and levels
- Working with Extruder and Slipform machines
- Detailed kerb works including cutdowns and laybacks
- Use of all tools associated with concreting
We Are Looking For Someone Who Has:
- 3+ years’ experience as a Concrete Finisher
- Strong understanding of site preparation, levels and set out
- Strong understanding of standard TfNSW and Council profiles
- Experience working with Slipform machines is highly regarded but not essential
- Ability to work with a team and independently
- A valid Construction White Card
- Ability to travel to the Yard (Narellan) or site
- Working safely and complying with all site safety standards
- Working rights in Australia
