Opportunity

WEM Civil has a rewarding opportunity for Civil Construction Labourers to join the team.

We have a strong portfolio of projects currently underway across Sydney's Northwest and Southwest, as well as the Hunter and Illawarra regions. This role will require travel to multiple job sites, primarily located in Sydney’s Northwest region.

Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking civil construction labourers to carry out a variety of manual labouring tasks on-site including:

  • Preliminary Works: Assisting with site setup and preparation.
  • Pavement Construction: Laying and finishing pavements to specifications.
  • Conduits & Subsoils: Installing conduits and subsoil drainage systems.
  • Pit Rendering: Applying rendering to pits as required.
  • Fencing: Installing and maintaining fencing around work sites.
  • Drainage: Assisting with the installation and maintenance of drainage systems.
  • Finishing Works: Completing final site finishing tasks.
  • General Labouring: Supporting general site duties as needed.

We Are Looking for Someone Who Has:

  • Prior experience in the construction industry is highly valued but not required.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a team
  • Physically capable of performing the role’s duties
  • A construction white card
  • Valid Driver’s Licence with flexibility to travel between job sites
  • Strong commitment to health, safety, environment and quality standards
  • A proactive and positive attitude with the ability to use initiative
