Opportunity
WEM has a rewarding opportunity for a Talent Acquisition Advisor to join the team in a part-time capacity (3 days per week). In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sourcing and employer branding strategies to help WEM attract and recruit top talent. Based in Norwest Business Park (Bella Vista) and reporting to the People & Culture Manager, identify and engage potential candidates through various channels, and support the team in selecting the best talent. You will oversee the entire recruitment process, ensuring it runs smoothly while maintaining WEM Civil's values and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with the P&C Team and hiring managers to forecast staffing needs and build strong working relationships.
- Use various sourcing methods like job boards, social media, networking, career fairs, and referrals to find and attract candidates.
- Create engaging job ads and recruitment campaigns to attract candidates and strengthen WEM Civil's employer brand.
- Maintain talent pools and pipelines of passive candidates for future openings.
- Screen resumes and applications, conduct initial phone interviews, and coordinate interview schedules.
- Ensure a positive, professional experience for all candidates during recruitment.
- Oversee the pre-employment check and offer process.
- Manage WEM Civil's employee referral program.
- Prepare recruitment reports and metrics to track sourcing effectiveness and suggest improvements.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and new recruitment techniques.
We Are Looking For Someone Who Has:
- Previous experience in talent acquisition for both blue-collar and white-collar roles.
- Strong knowledge of sourcing strategies, candidate assessment, and interview techniques.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for building positive relationships.
- Strong organisational and time management abilities.
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Adaptability to changing priorities and business needs.
- Results-driven with a sense of urgency to achieve hiring targets.
- Commitment to diversity and inclusion in recruitment practices.
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field are preferred.

Additional Information:
- This is a part-time (3 days per week), 6-month fixed-term contract with the potential to transition to a permanent position based on business needs.
