Opportunity

WEM Civil has a rewarding opportunity for a Concreter to join the team.

We have a strong portfolio of projects currently underway across Sydney's Northwest and Southwest, as well as the Hunter and Illawarra regions. This role will require travel to multiple job sites, primarily located in Sydney’s Northwest region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Concrete Placement: Pour and place concrete accurately, ensuring proper levelling and adherence to specifications.
• Concrete Finishing: carry out all aspects of finishing work, including smoothing, shaping, and applying finishing techniques for a polished result.
• Kerbs, Gutters and Footpaths: Constructing and finishing curbs, gutters, footpaths and driveways to a high standard of quality and accuracy.
• Tool Operation: Proficient and safe use of all tools and equipment associated with concreting, including trowels and power tools.
• General Labouring: Support the team with site preparation, cleanup, and general tasks to keep the concreting process running smoothly.

We Are Looking for Someone Who Has:

• Demonstrated experience in concreting
• Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a team
• Physically capable of performing the required tasks
• A construction white card
• Valid Driver’s Licence with flexibility to travel between job sites
• Commitment to health, safety, environment and quality standards
• A proactive and positive attitude with the ability to use initiative 
• Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
